The AXICORD principle:
To measure radial and axial runout in respect to the thread axis, that axis must be determined correctly and repeatably. The AXICORD principle is based on a special, slightly tapered thread. The AXICORD thread plug gauges and ring gauges are screwed onto the workpiece. The pairing results in a very good fit on the thread axis, which can be used to measure the alignment of the thread.

As a bench-top instrument, the measuring instruments are practical for series measurement of smaller test pieces. They can be equipped with a digital display for forwarding the measurement results to an interface. To achieve the best measurement results, the bench-top instruments can be equipped with a motorised drive.
Universal Measuring Bench
TESTICORD is a universally usable measuring table. It has spring-mounted centre supports and a slide running parallel to the workpiece axis. TESTICORD is particularly suitable for measuring gauges, taps, milling cutters, reamers etc. Extensive accessories allow adaptation to different measuring tasks.
